This course will provide you with the opportunity of studying in an institution based in Malta to qualify at Bachelor's Level in the areas of adult education, training and development, on a part-time basis. The course will close the 'opportunity gap' that exists to date for students interested in pursuing studies in adult education, training and development at first degree level (Level 6) by studying at a Malta-based institution.

Additionally, the programme of study responds to various research findings that build a case for greater investment in the professionalisation of adult educators and trainers. Notably, the professionalisation of adult educators and trainers is one of the strategic measures detailed in the latest National Lifelong Learning Strategy 2020-2030 (Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability, Ministry for Education, 2020).

This course will give you the opportunity to pursue your studies at Bachelor’s level without further delay, provided that you are already in possession of a Level 5 Diploma qualification in this area of studies or a comparable area of studies; or other comparable qualification (subject to evaluation by the University of Malta).
